Perth Show 2012, Perth

Once again we are all looking forward to the Show on the South Inch on 3 & 4 August.  We have just a couple of rooms available at No 9 The Guest House, which is spacious and comfortable with large rooms and a great breakfast and within 5-7 mins walking distance of the Inch.  You can park your car in our off-street parking area, use free WiFi access to keep in touch and if you would like to have dinner with us we are happy for Peter to cook for, co-owner and chef to 2 AA Rosette standard.

Rewind Scotland 2012

It’s countdown time until Rewind begins tomorrow at Scone Palace.  Our guests have already started to arrive and just like us, are really looking forward to it.  If you are going next year, be sure to book with us good and early as we started taking bookings for accommodation for this in early January and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing since – even had someone offering to camp/glamp in our garage or back garden!!

Cluny Gardens and Branklyn Gardens, Perthshire

Calling all gardenlovers and gardeners! We are lucky to have many beautiful gardens in Perthshire. Cluny Gardens near Aberfeldy, which featured on the Countrylife programme last week has many examples of amazinig Himalayan plants and is set in a lovely hillside situation.  Branklyn Gardens is a hidden gem on the Dundee Road in Perth and a haven in a city setting.  Owned by the NationalTrust for Scotland it is famed for unusual and varied plants.  Both are part of the Perthshire Collection scheme which allows visitors a pass to visit over 10 gardens in Perthshire and Fife.  Why not book accommodation with us at No 9 The Guest House (www.no9theguesthouseperth.co.uk) and visit the gardens over a period of days?
